Sluice Room Check Guide
Overview
The Sluice Room Check system allows managers to monitor and document the condition and maintenance of sluice room facilities. This guide will help you navigate through viewing existing checks and creating new ones.
Important Note: Only users with manager privileges can access and create sluice room checks.
Viewing Sluice Room Checks
- Accessing the Overview: From the maintenance dashboard, click on "Sluice Room Checks" to view all entries.
- Check Details: The overview displays three main columns:
- Date: When the check was performed
- Location: Which sluice room was checked
- Comments: Any notes or observations made during the check
- Viewing Individual Checks: Click on either the date or location to view the full details of a specific check.
Tip: Entries are sorted by date, with the most recent checks appearing first.
Creating New Checks
- Starting a New Check:
- Click the "Add new sluice room check" button from the overview page
- Select the specific location from the dropdown menu
- The current date will be automatically filled in
- Adding Comments:
- Document any issues or observations in the comments field
- Include specific details about cleaning needs or maintenance requirements
- Note any supplies that need replenishing
Tip: Be as detailed as possible in your comments to ensure proper follow-up actions can be taken.
Best Practices
- Regular Checks: Perform sluice room checks at scheduled intervals
- Documentation: Always document any issues, no matter how minor they may seem
- Follow-up: Review previous checks to ensure reported issues have been addressed
Navigation Tips
- Use the "Go back to dashboard" button to return to the main maintenance menu
- Use the browser's back button to return to the previous page
- Click on check entries in the table to view full details
Note: Ensure all required fields are completed before submitting a new check. Incomplete entries cannot be saved.
