Residents Management Guide
Overview
The Residents Management system allows you to maintain and update resident information, including personal details, room assignments, and photos. This guide will help you navigate the resident management features effectively.
Important Note: Only authorized managers have access to modify resident information. Ensure you're logged in with the appropriate permissions.
Viewing Residents
- Resident List: Access the complete list of residents from the dashboard
- Sorting and Navigation: Click on column headers to sort residents by name or room number
- Detailed View: Click on a resident's name to view their complete profile
Tip: Use the search function to quickly locate specific residents by name or room number.
Adding New Residents
- Creating Records:
- Click the "Add new resident" button from the residents list page
- Fill in all required fields (marked with an asterisk *)
- Upload a resident photo if available
- Required Information:
- Resident's full name
- Room name/number assignment
- Any relevant notes or special considerations
Managing Photos
- Click "View Photo" to see the full-size resident image
- Images should be clear and recent
- Photos can be updated at any time through the edit feature
- The system automatically resizes large images for optimal storage
Tip: Keep resident photos up to date to assist with proper identification by staff members.
Editing Resident Information
- Navigate to the resident's detailed view page
- Click the "Edit" button to modify information
- Update necessary fields
- Save changes using the "Submit" button
Note: All changes are logged in the system for record-keeping purposes. Ensure accuracy of all modifications.
Room Management
- Room Assignments:
- Update room assignments through the edit resident feature
- Verify room availability before making changes
- Document any room changes in the resident notes
Tip: Always confirm room changes with appropriate staff members before implementation.
