The Repairs Management system allows managers to track and manage repair requests across locations. This guide will help you effectively use the repairs tracking system.
Important Note: All repair entries must include a location and description. Incomplete entries cannot be submitted.
Viewing Repairs
Repairs Dashboard:
View all repairs in a sortable table format
Check repair status (Completed or Awaiting repair)
See creation date and creator information
Click on any repair entry to view full details
Status Indicators:
Green checkmark: Repair has been completed
Warning triangle: Repair is still pending
Tip: Click on the date or location to view detailed information about specific repairs.
Creating New Repairs
Required Information:
Location: Specify where the repair is needed
Description: Detailed explanation of the issue
Report: Any additional relevant information
Optional Details:
Add supporting documentation if available
Include contact information for follow-up
Managing Existing Repairs
Updating Status:
Mark repairs as completed when finished
Add completion notes and date
Update repair details as needed
Documentation:
Upload relevant photos or documents
Add progress notes
Record any follow-up actions needed
Dashboard Navigation
Use the "Go back to dashboard" button to return to the main manager dashboard
Click "Add new repair" to create a new repair entry
Sort repairs by clicking on column headers
Use the search function to find specific repairs
Note: Only managers have access to create and modify repair entries.
