Communal Areas Check Guide
Overview
The Communal Areas Check system allows managers to record and review inspections of shared spaces. This guide will help you navigate the system effectively and create detailed check reports.
Important Note: Only users with manager access can create and view communal areas check reports.
Accessing Reports
- View All Reports: Access the complete list of communal areas checks from the manager dashboard
- Report Details: Click on any date or "View Report" link to see the full inspection details
- Report Sorting: Reports are organized by date for easy reference
Tip: Use the comments column for quick reference to identify specific inspections without opening the full report.
Creating New Reports
- Starting a New Check:
- Navigate to the Communal Areas Check section from the manager dashboard
- Click the "New Check" button to begin a new inspection
- The current date will be automatically recorded
- Recording Observations:
- Complete all required inspection fields
- Add detailed comments about the condition of communal areas
- Note any maintenance issues or concerns
Adding Comments
- Provide clear, concise descriptions of any issues found
- Include location-specific details when necessary
- Document any immediate actions taken
- Note any follow-up requirements

Report Management
- Review all information for accuracy before submission
- Submit the report to save it to the system
- Access previous reports through the main communal areas check page
Note: All submitted reports are permanently stored and can be referenced at any time through the manager interface.
