Sluice Room Check Guide
Getting Started
The Sluice Room Check system helps ensure that all sluice room facilities are properly maintained and meet safety standards. This guide will help you complete thorough and accurate inspections.
Important Note: All inspections must be completed with accurate temperature readings and honest assessments of room conditions. Your confirmation at the end certifies the records as true and correct.
Basic Information
- Date of Inspection (Required): Select the current date using the date picker
- Location (Required): Specify the location (e.g., ground floor, first floor)
Tip: Be as specific as possible with the location to ensure proper tracking of different sluice rooms.
Room Condition Checks
- Fixtures & Fittings: Assess the condition of all fixtures and fittings
- Floors: Check the condition of floor coverings
- Decor: Examine walls and ceiling conditions
- Windows: Verify window condition and restrictor functionality
- Fire Door: Test fire door operation and condition
- Electrical: Check all electrical points for damage and proper function
Note: For each item, select either "Yes" (good condition), "No" (needs attention), or "N/A" (not applicable) where available.
Temperature Readings
- Sluice Temperatures:
- Record hot water temperature in degrees Celsius
- Record cold water temperature in degrees Celsius
- Hand Wash Basin Temperatures:
- Record hot water temperature in degrees Celsius
- Record cold water temperature in degrees Celsius
Tip: Always allow the water to run for a few seconds before taking temperature readings for accurate measurements.
Comments and Additional Information
- Use the comments section to record:
- Details of any defects found
- Corrective actions needed or taken
- Additional observations
- Leave blank if no issues are found
Submitting Your Check
- Review all entries for accuracy
- Check your name is correctly displayed
- Tick the confirmation checkbox to certify the records
- Click "Create Sluice Room Check" to submit
Note: The submit button will remain disabled until you check the confirmation box. This ensures you have reviewed and verified all information.
