Other Room Check Guide
Getting Started
The Other Room Check system allows you to perform and document detailed inspections of various rooms in the facility. This guide will help you complete accurate and thorough room checks.
Important Note: Room checks must be completed within the last 14 days. You cannot create entries for dates more than 14 days in the past.
Basic Information
- Date of Inspection (Required): Select the date when the inspection was performed
- Room Name/Number (Required): Enter the specific identifier for the room
- Location (Required): Specify the area (e.g., ground floor, first floor)
Tip: Be as specific as possible with room identification to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Room Condition Checks
- Furniture: Assess and document the condition of all furniture
- Floors: Check floor covering condition
- Decor: Inspect walls and ceiling condition
- Windows: Verify window condition and restrictor functionality
- Fire Door: Test and check fire door operation
- Electrical: Verify all electrical points are functional and undamaged
Tip: For each item, select either "Yes" or "No" to indicate if it's in good condition.
Temperature Checks
- Hot Water Temperature: Must not exceed 41°C
- Cold Water Temperature: Must not exceed 20°C
- Record temperatures for (if applicable):
- Sink 1 (Hot and Cold)
- Sink 2 (Hot and Cold)
- Hand Wash Basin 1 (Hot and Cold)
- Hand Wash Basin 2 (Hot and Cold)
Note: Temperature fields are optional and should only be filled if water facilities are present in the room.
Comments and Submission
- Comments Section:
- Document any defects found during inspection
- Detail any corrective actions required
- Can be left blank if no issues are found
- Confirmation:
- Your name will be automatically recorded
- Check the confirmation box to verify accuracy
- Submit button will only activate after confirmation
Note: Once submitted, you'll be redirected to the room checks overview page with a success message.
