The Repairs System allows maintenance staff to track and manage repair requests across different locations. This guide will help you navigate and use the repairs system effectively.
Important Note: Only authorized maintenance personnel can access and manage repair requests. Ensure you have the proper permissions before attempting to access the system.
Accessing the Repairs Dashboard
- Navigation: Access the repairs section through the maintenance dashboard
- Authentication: You must be logged in with maintenance privileges
- Overview: The main repairs page displays all repair requests in a table format
Tip: Use the "Go back to dashboard" button to return to the main maintenance area at any time.
Understanding the Repairs Table
- Date Column: Shows the entry date of the repair request in DD-MM-YYYY format
- Location Column: Displays where the repair is needed
- Status Column: Visual indicators show repair status:
- Green checkmark: Completed repairs
- Warning triangle: Repairs awaiting completion
Viewing Repair Details
- Accessing Details: Click on either the date or location to view full repair information
- Available Information:
- Complete repair description
- Repair reports and updates
- Name of person who created the request
- Full entry date and completion status
Managing Repairs
- Regularly check the dashboard for new repair requests
- Prioritize repairs based on urgency and location
- Update repair status once completed
- Document any relevant information in the repair report
