Health and Safety Check Guide
Getting Started
The Health and Safety Check system helps ensure our facilities maintain proper safety standards. This guide will help you complete thorough and accurate safety checks.
Important Note: Health and Safety checks must be completed regularly as per schedule - daily items must be checked daily, and weekly items must be checked weekly.
Inspection Date
- Date Selection (Required): Choose the date of inspection using the date picker
- Date Restrictions: You can only select dates from the past 14 days up to today
Tip: Always complete and submit your safety check on the same day it was performed.
Daily Check Items
- Fire exits for obstructions
- Stairwells for obstructions
- Fire alarm panel for faults
- Fire exit doors open freely
- Escape routes clear
- Safety signs condition
- Main entrance clearance
- Sub stations security
Weekly Check Items
- Battery storage unit inspection
- Fire bag torch batteries check
- Walkie talkies charging status
Tip: Mark your calendar for weekly checks to ensure they're not overlooked.
Recording Issues
- Status Selection:
- Choose "Yes" if all items are satisfactory
- Choose "No" if any issues are found
- Comments Section:
- Detail any defects found
- Describe corrective actions taken or required
- Can be left blank if no issues found
Submitting Your Check
- Review all inspection items carefully
- Add detailed comments for any issues found
- Verify your name is correct
- Check the confirmation box to verify accuracy
- Click "Create Health and Safety Check" to submit
Note: The submit button will remain disabled until you check the confirmation box verifying the accuracy of your report.
