Fire Drill Report Creation Guide
Getting Started
The Fire Drill Report system allows you to document evacuation drills, including timing, personnel involved, and any issues identified. This guide will help you create accurate and detailed fire drill reports.
Important Note: All fire drill reports must be confirmed as true and correct before submission. The submit button will remain disabled until you check the confirmation box.
Basic Information
- Date (Required): Select the date when the fire drill was conducted using the date picker.
- Location (Required): Specify which area was evacuated during the drill.
Tip: Be specific about the location to ensure accurate record-keeping and tracking of drill coverage.
Timing Details
- Start Time (Required): Enter when the fire drill began
- Finish Time (Required): Enter when the fire drill ended
- Response Time (Required): Enter the overall response time in minutes
Personnel Information
- Initiated By (Required): Enter the name of the person who initiated the drill
- Staff Selection (Required):
- Use the dropdown menu to select staff members who participated
- Click the dropdown multiple times to add multiple staff members
- Use the red X icon to remove any incorrectly added staff
- Other Personnel: Use the text area to list any additional participants not in the staff dropdown
Note: You must select at least one staff member who attended the fire drill before submitting the report.
Participation Numbers
- Number of Staff (Required): Enter the total number of staff members involved
- Number of Others (Required): Enter the number of non-staff participants (enter 0 if none)
Assessment and Follow-up
- Problems Identified (Optional): Document any issues or concerns noticed during the drill
- Remedial Action (Optional): Describe any corrective actions needed or taken
- Additional Comments (Optional): Add any other relevant observations or notes
Tip: Even if the drill went smoothly, it's helpful to note this in the comments section for future reference.
Submitting Your Report
- Review all entered information for accuracy
- Check the confirmation box to verify the records are true and correct
- Click the "Create Fire Drill Record" button to submit your report
Note: After submission, you'll be redirected to the fire drill reports overview page with a success message.
