Drains Check Guide
Overview
The Drains Check system allows you to record and document the inspection of external drain covers. This guide will help you complete accurate and thorough drain inspections.
Important Note: All drain checks must be completed within the last 14 days. You cannot create entries for dates more than 14 days in the past.
Date Selection
- Inspection Date (Required): Select the date when the inspection was performed using the date picker
- Date Restrictions: You can only select dates between today and 14 days ago
Tip: Always complete and submit the inspection form on the same day the check was performed.
Completing the Inspection
- External Drains Check:
- Inspect all drain covers for visible damage
- Test if covers can be lifted easily
- Select "Yes" or "No" based on your findings
- Adding Comments:
- Use the comments section to describe any defects found
- Document any corrective actions taken or required
- If no issues are found, comments are optional
Verification and Submission
- Record Verification:
- Your name will be automatically recorded with the submission
- Review all entered information for accuracy
- Check the confirmation box to verify the records are true and correct
- Submission:
- The "Create Drains Check" button will remain disabled until you check the confirmation box
- Click "Create Drains Check" to submit your inspection
Note: After submission, you'll be redirected to the drains check overview page with a success message.
Navigation Options
- Use "Go back to dashboard" to return to the main maintenance dashboard
- Use "Go back to drains checks" to view all completed drain inspections
Tip: You can review past submissions through the drains checks overview page.
