Door Release Location Guide
Overview
The Door Release Location system allows you to manage and record door release locations throughout the facility. This guide will help you create and manage door release location entries effectively.
Important Note: Each door release location must have both a unit number and a specific location description for proper identification.
Creating a New Door Release Location
- Unit Number (Required): Enter the specific unit number associated with the door release location.
- Location (Required): Provide a detailed description of where the door release is located.
Tip: Use clear, consistent terminology when describing locations to ensure easy identification by other maintenance staff.
Required Information
- Unit Number Format:
- Must be a valid unit number within the facility
- Use standard formatting for consistency
- Double-check for accuracy before submission
- Location Description:
- Be specific about the physical location
- Include relevant landmarks or reference points
- Use clear, unambiguous descriptions
Entry Process
- Navigate to the Door Release Location creation page
- Enter the required unit number
- Provide a detailed location description
- Review the information for accuracy
- Click the "Submit" button to save the entry
Tip: Before creating a new entry, check if the location already exists to avoid duplicates.
After Submission
- The system will automatically record:
- The date of entry
- Your user ID as the creator
- The entry in the door release location database
Note: After submission, you'll be redirected to the door release location overview page where you can view all entries.

- Always verify the unit number before submission
- Use consistent terminology in location descriptions
- Include all relevant details for easy identification
- Double-check your entries before submitting
