Repairs System User Guide
Overview
The Repairs System allows you to track and manage maintenance issues throughout the facility. This guide will help you effectively use the system to report and monitor repairs.
Important Note: All repair requests must include a specific location and detailed description to ensure proper handling.
Viewing Repairs
- Repairs Dashboard: Access all current and completed repairs in one location
- Status Indicators:
- Green checkmark: Completed repairs
- Warning triangle: Awaiting repair
- Sorting and Filtering: Click column headers to sort by date, location, or status
Tip: Click on any repair's date or location to view its complete details.
Creating New Repair Requests
- Required Information:
- Location: Specific area where repair is needed
- Description: Detailed explanation of the issue
- Report: Any additional relevant information
- Access: Click "Add new repair" button from the repairs dashboard
- Submission: Review all information before submitting the request
Tip: Include specific details about equipment models or part numbers when applicable.
Tracking Repair Status
- Status Indicators:
- View current status directly from the dashboard
- Track completion dates and responsible personnel
- History: Access complete repair history for any location
- Updates: Receive notifications when repair status changes
Best Practices
- Always check if a similar repair request already exists before creating a new one
- Provide clear, detailed descriptions to help maintenance staff prepare appropriately
- Include any relevant safety concerns in the description
- Document any temporary solutions implemented while awaiting repairs
