Kitchen Daily Check Guide
Getting Started
The Kitchen Daily Check system helps maintain kitchen standards and track daily operations. This guide will help you create and manage kitchen check reports effectively.
Important Note: Each kitchen check must be completed daily. Previous checks can be viewed but cannot be modified after submission.
Accessing Kitchen Checks
- View Reports: Access all kitchen check reports from the main dashboard
- Create New Check: Use the "Add new kitchen daily check" button to start a new report
- Past Reports: View previous reports by clicking on their respective dates
Tip: Use the date links to quickly access specific reports for review.
Creating a New Check
- Date Selection:
- Current date is automatically selected
- Cannot create multiple checks for the same date
- Inspection Items:
- Complete all required check items
- Mark each item as satisfactory or unsatisfactory
- Provide detailed notes for any unsatisfactory items
- Comments Section: Add any additional observations or notes about kitchen conditions
Report Management
- Reports are organized by date for easy reference
- Each report displays:
- Date of check
- Name of staff member who created the report
- Comments section contents
- Direct link to view the full report
Tip: Regular review of past reports can help identify patterns and recurring issues.
Reviewing Reports
- Click "View Report" or the date link to access the full report details
- Review all check items and their status
- Check comments for any specific issues or concerns
- Note the staff member who completed the check for follow-up if needed
Note: Reports serve as official records and may be required for compliance purposes. Ensure all information is accurate and complete.
Navigation Tips
- Use the "Go back to dashboard" button to return to the main kitchen dashboard
- Access new check creation directly from the dashboard
- View reports chronologically in the main table display
Tip: Bookmark frequently accessed reports for quick reference.
